My best friend's 8 year old daughter decided for her birthday she wanted a "Hawaiian Dog" party, whatevertheheck that is.
So, I figured, Hokay, let's help give her what she wants.
I grabbed a couple plastic leis, got a child's hula skirt from a party shop, used
my own faux flower (it stayed on her ear thanks to a bobbie pin), put Molly on a white sheet, and shot a few.
I photoshopped some of the sheet wrinkles out (I don't have pro background equipment), used
Picnik to add the text (Hau'oli la hanau is Hawaiian for Happy Birthday), and here we are.
We're going to print this on iron-on transfer sheets and put it on tshirts for all the girls coming to the party.
Molly was a good sport and got several extra treats for this!
HULA DOG! WOOF!

Photos shot in maunal at 1/250, f/2.8 using ST-E2 to trigger a 580EX on camera left and 430EX on camera right. Flashes were fired in ETTL mode, using 2:1 ratio and placed on light stands pointing up and bounced off the stucco ceiling.
